This is a real video performance written & directed by Guillaume Panariellofor for Sisko. A slow motion video, a sequence map with a traveling in front of 80 extras placed on 80 meters along a little road, lost in an industrial area. Filmed at 1000 frames/second with a camera (Phantom 4k) from a car driven at 50km/h, the shooting took 5 seconds for a 3’30 video: a living and dreamlike mural.

It is a Cinderella story involving a cookie girl who wishes to be queen at the cookie carnival, and a homage to the Atlantic City boardwalk parade and bathing beauty contest (what eventually became the Miss America pageant) of the 1920s and 1930s.

The action meanwhile alternates between the young and old Queen Charlotte, using shadows and reflections to move between the two, evoking her journey to becoming a monarch. At the same time, the deliberately slow, cinematic pace, stylized framing and deft match cuts create a cohesive visual narrative that pulls the viewer into the story.
